I've never used it. It's the sixth knife he's made for me since 1986. It's by far the best combat knife made. Made of D2 tool steel. I showed Mr. Brend another knife I had bought and he told me flatly, "that knife I made for you can cut that knife in half". I got rid of the knife soon after. I'm lucky to have had Mr. Brend make some wonderful knives for me. This is not a production knife. He sent it to me ahead of everyone else because I'm in the Army.
