It has family fittings and is in polish. It has fish Menuki and the tsuba has basketweave and bird The koshira has Japanese samurai riding towards mountains and palace Lovely little knife this.  The C17 blade is in excellent polish. We have been informed it could be from the Edo period The blade is possibly Mun Ish Ige from Settsu province who was very active in 1686 and worked in Edo Tokyo.
