Description This knife came from the personal collection of Robert Hunt, one of the foremost collectors of Randall’s in the world, who authored "Randall Fighting Knives in Wartime".  In a letter regarding these particular knives, Mr. Hunt wrote:  "There were 85 10" IXL Bowies made between 1963 -1966, and 62 6" Hunters made between 1963-1964"  They comes with correct sheaths.   Correct unused Combination Crystolon stone   Some carbon pitting noted by the pictures but it is not as bad as the pictures make it out to be.   The blade only has been cleaned by a master knife maker and looks great but there is still some light pitting, the worst of it is by the stamp. The 6’ knife is completely untouched and in superb condition and is featured in Hunt’s first book.
