It is an authentic replica of a museum piece with hand-forged Damascus steel blade. The Qing or Ching Dynasty was the last of the Chinese Dynasties. It was overthrown early in the last century, but which time the Taiji sword had evolved into it’s modern form. The K120C pattern-welded Damascus blade has a flattened diamond section. The guard and pommel are made of gilded steel with a flying bat design (symbolizing luck in Chinese ideology). The sword comes with a matching scabbard with gilded brass fittings. The bright red tassel comes with intricate knot-work.
