At one time he was a custom knife maker who made many custom designed knives but who had to give up his business due to health reasons. This knife is a custom double-edged dagger handmade by Poag. It is numbered 1 of 1. This knife has a spiral fluted Mastadon Ivory handle with Amber spacers and rope file worked spacers. The blade is mirror polished and has engraving on the blade throat and guard. Overall length is 14 3/4 inches and the blade length is 8 1/2 inches. Only serious knife collectors should consider bidding on this remarkable works. I personally have one of his hunting knives I had him make to my specifications and it is of outstanding quality.
