With a blade length shorter than most other Katanas (24 1/2 inches) it is suitable for the practicioner who isn't so tall. Cold Steel's Imperial Series Japanese swords are very popular but fairly expensive. They decided to make a less expensive version without the extensive hand polishing of the blade. The Warrior Series swords are the same quality without such expensive polishing. They're a great value especially for someone who plans to use the sword and do some cutting, which would likely mess up the bright polishing anyway. The Warrior series swords share the same steel, heat treatment, and sharpness of their more expensive counterparts. They have Samé covered, cord wrappend handles and quality fittings. Black lacquered scabbard and blue/violte cover bag. Each sword comes fully sharpened and battle ready and we're sure you will be thrilled with its fantastic fit and finish.
