Chris Reeve 2008 Limited Edition Small Sebenza Wood Inlay Knife Satin Wood Inlay The Annual Woods are the only Chris Reeve knives that will be created using the otherwise-discontinued "Regular Sebenza" design. Each year, Chris Reeve will make 75 large and 75 small Sebenzas in the Limited Edition Wood. Each knife is engraved with the year. The model that pioneered the inlay concept, this collector series features an intricate inlay shape and woods that are rare, figured and difficult to work with. This inlay is Satin wood. Limited to 75 large and 75 small Sebenzas each year, each knife is marked with the relevant year. The first edition was made available in 1999 and there is no final year planned at this time.  These prized collector knives are hard to find. The folding knife that has become the yardstick against which others are compared, the Sebenza has earned a worldwide reputation for rock solid performance and a "bank vault" feel.  The Regular model Sebenza (like this one) was introduced in 1996, replacing the first or original profile that had been introduced in 1990. In 2000, because so many customers had asked for the original profile, Chris Reeve introduced the Classic 2000, while continuing to manufacture these fine Regular models.  The Regular model has now been discontinued, except for these annual woods. Each Sebenza is individually fitted to the closest tolerances.  The knives are made with S30V blades.
