Steve is a part time maker but makes 100-150 knives a year. This knife is hand ground from  ATS-34 stainless steel and is just under 1/4 inch thick. It has an 8 inch blade that is 1 5/8 inches at it's widest point. This knife is much larger than a Randall 14. The knife has a heavy brass guard and pommel with a reddish brown micarta handle that is accented with white, black, and brass spacers.The sheath is heavy leather with a decorative strap snap. This is a very well made heavy knife in the classic Randall 14 style without the wait or the price.
