15TH c Hand Forged Combat Ready Ranger Sword Hand forged by Darksword Armory Historically accurate, Hand Forged Combat Ready Swords and armors for Serious Collectors and Reenactment groups Total Length: 46.5" Blade: 36" Cross Guard : 10" Handle and Pommel: 10" The sword is hand forged by Darksword Armory from High Carbon Spring steel. The sword is functional and specifically designed to support the stress of combat. The blade is Hand Forged from High Carbon Spring Steel and Tempered to a Rockwell of 53. The sword is combat ready, forged with a full Tang. The blade has been fully Tempered and oil Hardened. This is a real sword, forged for historical combat use, and reproduced form the original movie prop. The sword comes with a hard case scabbard. Performance videos can be seen below. The following resistance test were performed by "The Sword Buyer's Guide", an independent Australian based company, whose sole purpose is to test combat ready swords from various sword makers in order to allow collectors, as yourself, make appropriate choices when purchasing their weapon. Destructive resistance videos, created by "The Sword Buyer's Guide", are below. These tests place tremendous tress on the swords in order to test their resistance beyond "normal" combat use. Shipping within Canada is 35$. Shipping to the US is 45$. International shipping is 98$. We can ship up to two swords in one box with no additional shipping cost. Canadian Bidders must add 5% GST , Quebec bidders must add an additional 7.5% for the QST. We do not charge tax to bidders outside of Canada. See our other auctions.
