The blade has been Tempered and oil hardened to a Rockwell of 53. The sword is Fully functional and specifically made to support the stress of full contact historical combat. Click on the thumbs below for larger images         The following resistance test were performed by "The Sword Buyer's Guide", an independent Australian based company, whose sole purpose is to test combat ready swords from various sword makers in order to allow collectors, as yourself, make appropriate choices when purchasing their weapon.  Destructive resistance videos, created by "The Sword Buyer's Guide", are below. These tests place tremendous tress on the swords in order to test their resistance beyond "normal" combat use.         Buyer pays actual shipping cost + 2$ to cover packing material.  Canadian Bidders must add 5% GST , Quebec bidders must add an additional 7.5% for the QST.
