This true battle ready sword was entirely hand forged and assembled in Canada, no cheap China , India or Philippines manufacturing here. This Boromir is very unique and is the only one of it’s kind in existence today; it is an antiqued version with three interchangeable handles. The blade was forged by hand from 1060 carbon steel, tempered to a Rockwell hardness of 53.  It has a fuller running down 7/8 of the blade, the guard and pummel are carbon steel as well. The original DS handle is the black, spiral, leather wrapped one. The second , custom made handle, was hand carved from wood and finished in a Mahogany stain. The third custom handle was carved from wood and finished in a custom spiral leather wrap, with a deep oxblood leather stain finish. The sword includes a customized DS scabbard, wood core, wrapped with 2-tone leather trim. The scabbard also comes with a black leather frog and black leather sword belt. For those who have never heard of them, DS is a Canadian sword maker, they produce some of the toughest, battle ready swords available on the market today. You can look up their videos on the sword forums or check out their website.  The Boromir sword is capable of cutting down a tree if u choose to do so, it is a sword u can take into battle and trust your life with, it was forged for heavy , steel on steel contact. The blade is extremely tough, stiff and is sharp. The sword I am listing here is a one of a kind creation, with a custom antiqued finish, it looks like it came right out of an ancient, forgotten time.This was made by a skilled crafstman, by hand,  not a machine. The three handles u will receive are not available anywhere else in the world (well, 2 actually, one of course is the DS standard).  This will make a great addition to any collection, or a perfect gift for a collector on your xmas list.
